There was a more than 1 minute-improvement with the pace of the mile from the previous run on last Sunday.  Pace for the 1st mile: 10:48 (Speed: 5.6 with a speed of up to 6.5 within the last minute of the mile) Pace for the 2nd mile: 10:42 (Speed: 5.6 with a speed of up to 6.7 within the last minute of the mile) Pace for the 3rd mile: 10:40 (Speed: 5.6 with a speed of up to 7.0 within the last minute of the mile)

My warm-up routine was implemented with a speed of 1.9, 2.9, 3.9, 4.9, 5.6 on a treadmill for each speed for 1 minute and 15 seconds with a brief break inserted in-between each change of the speed.  I took a break between each of the 3 miles.  Before I worked out with the speeds on a treadmill, I performed exercises in under three minutes.  After I ran a speed of 5.6, I took a brief break to run the miles.  There was a break before I walked for 1 mile and then performed warm-down exercises for under three minutes.  I walked for 3 miles on Saturday.
